Need help matching flooring to existing brick flooring

We just purchased our first townhome and the main floor has brick flooring in the hallways and kitchen that lead into the main living area. We are planning to put down new floors in the living space, which is currently carpeted and can't seem to figure out the right shade to flow with the brick.

We are pretty set on doing a high-end laminate because of our dog and the easy installation. Any suggestions?

Do a wood plank vinyl laminate -at the high end they are even more believable than laminate wood floors and 1,000 percent more durable. Armstrong makes great ones - pick a wood tone that either references the cherry tone of the butcher block or the golden brick tone - hickory finishes?

HI -- I think if you went with a medium toned walnut color . If you go too dark , it will show every speck of dust and dog hair . The medium walnut color will blend with the brick flooring . Are you also planning to paint the walls . I really don't like the yellow tones and feel that doesn't go with the brick colors. But I would see what the new flooring does for the room before changing other things.

I like one of these high end end laminates. I don't like pairing two stone products so I think that your definitely on the right track with laminate.

Yes, we are planning to change that yellow paint color for sure. We picked a lighter blush/tan color to pick up the light brick in the floor and bring out the blush in the counter tops. I believe we are picking between a tea and honey color from Home Depot or pueblo from sherwin Williams.
