Lynne, I'm just up the coast from you in Ponce Inlet. When my Myers Lemon had a lot of problems, I went to a local nursery down in your area and they recommended using Kelp Me Kelp you. It saved my tree and every year when I start the fertilizing process, I start with the kelp product. My tree is healthy and yielding a nice number of good sized fruit.

Might possibly be greening disease. I'd check with your county ag extension service - or you can ask the UF IFAS dept.

Hi Lynne, did you find out what was wrong? Or did you find anything to help? My lemon tree has been suffering as well, the leaves look nearly identical to what you've posted.

@beachlily z9a: I bought the Kelp Me Kelp You. Lindsey’s nursery said that not only did I need to fertilize more that I realized, but also water more, especially this year that has been so dry. I will try that.

@maribronze88: hasn’t been long enough yet for me to tell for sure about the Kelp Me, but see what I responded to beachlily above about watering. I realized that sprinklers weren’t hitting it, so I’m going to try watering it specifically. Keep me posted on how yours is, ok? Something else Lindsey’s said is that it could just be at the end of its life…it could be as old as 1989 (when our house was built) and I don’t know a Meyer’s lifespan.

I wouldn't give up!! Water and fertilize and see what happens. I thought my Meyer's lemon was lost but now it's healthy. Please keep trying. I think these plants can live a long time if they have the right help!
