I would visit the rental equipment store. Also consider options of strapping it and hanging it from something, not just dolly or forklift style. A walk-behind tracked mini-skid steer is probably 36" wide though. Some cheaper jerry-rig solutions, maybe an engine hoist, or lift it onto car tire dollies. Wood-built furniture dollies would probably have to have a platform on it to hold that much weight. If you are manual pushing, lay down plywood or you'll get bogged down in the gravel.

Lever it up on sections of pipe and roll it, repositioning the pipe as you progress. Need to securely strap it to the pallet first.

I have moved a big block of stone a couple of times using this method. All by myself.

We rented a safe moving dolly from a rental store to move a massive safe, this should do it. I'd say you would need to lay down some plywood on the ground to roll it.

Yeh! I was surprised to see the PVC myself. We have some sections of old larger diameter steel pipe that we keep around for this purpose.

If anyone uses PVC, be sure to get the thick walled stuff.

Actually the Romans had PVC. They stole it from the Greeks, who called it PUC. The Romans wrote everything with V's though, so they changed it to PVC.
