You need to get straight the depth of your base cabinets (standard is 24” deep), the depth of your counters (25.5), the depth of the range without the doors, and the depth of the range with the doors.

The proper range installation is that the oven door sits proud of the adjacent cabinets. If you open the oven door, you will see that the range sides - without the door - are made to be flush to the cabinets for most ranges in the U.S. market. That way the sides are not showing. But the oven door sits proud of the adjacent cabinets for fire safety and so that the cabinets don’t get burn marks from the heat of the oven. The counter usually does not come out as far as the range oven doors, though some people do opt for deep counters overall (about 27-28” deep with that option), but that is not what you are asking.

The first pic below shows a range that is set too deep against the adjacent cabinet which caused a burn mark. The next 2 pics show how the range oven doors correctly sit proud of the adjacent cabinets. You can see how the counters look in those pics.

Look at the specs for the range you want. Ranges as deep as the one you're looking at are usually professional style and supposed to stick out like MMiller showed. The sides probably won't show.
