I am in the home stretch of finishing projects started by my Mom. These are for her younger two great-grandsons (my brother's grandsons). I thought they would like to have something their great-grandmother had made.

In this sampler quilt, she had made all the blocks. The largest were the bow tie blocks I put in the center; I added fabric borders to the rest to make them the same size. The backing has a strip of four-patches she had assembled, and the label has some hand embroidery she had done.

This hexagon quilt was partly pieced by Mom, and she had cut out most of the kite shapes. The backing also has a strip of squares she had pieced together, and the label has some hand embroidery she did.
