Light or Dark Furniture Finish

Trying to decide between light or dark furniture finish. Blue pillow is the color of the sling material. Originally thought dark finish but upon receiving loaner set I started having second thoughts. Lighter finish makes the balcony seem more airy and less busy. Greatly appreciate opinions and advice.
