Recent experience with Tuscan Hills/Ultimo cabinets?

We have received a quote for our new kitchen from Tuscan Hills/Ultimo cabinets through Costco, and for all plywood box construction and hardwood doors, the price is very attractive. I've done a search, but there aren't any recent discussions -- does anyone have any experience/opinions on the quality of their cabinets? Thanks!

We ordered our cabinets (kitchen, bar, and laundry) in mid/late December, and they shipped yesterday — which was consistent with the ~5 month lead time our designer discussed at the time of our purchase. We’ll let you know about the quality when the cabinets arrive. We ordered “wings” for our kitchen and laundry and “peppercorn” for our bar.

Thank you, I'll be interested in any thoughts once they're installed!

Following....I'm also interested to hear how they are and would love for people who have had them a while to share how they're holding up.

Also, how does the price compare to Brighton or KraftMaid. According to this, they're the same price point as Brighton, but not quite as good. And a bit more expensive than KraftMaid.

But that link also says IKEA is terrible and people love their cabinets. (Note that the ratings are based on how the cabinets compare with others at the same price point.)

Apologies for the delayed follow-up — we are very happy with our cabinets. Attached are a few pictures. The kitchen is the “wings” color and the bar is the “peppercorn” color. We think the colors paired well with our counter tops (Bedrosians Encore in Calacatta Ravena) and are planning on using something like Bedrosians Cloe for the backsplashes. The cabinets are really nicely made. Our installer remarked at the quality, and they are on par with custom, handmade cabinets we used in another house. We did have a few minor issues — two trim pieces arrived in the wrong color — but Tuscan Hills customer service was awesome in dealing with the issue. We considered a number of cabinet companies, and am glad we chose Tuscan Hills. Highly recommended. Hope this helps!

I am looking into Costco /Tuscan hills cabinet but I'm concerned about using a separate installer. How does that work with Tuscan hills? Does anyone take responsibility if something is not right?

@dbenson122176 thank you, sorry I didn't see this earlier. Your kitchen looks great!

Do you mind sharing the price ranges were given for Tuscan?

I received quotes from Tuscan Hills (Full Overlay) and Home Depot (Kraftsmaid) based a layout that includes a standard perimeter, larger center island and a beverage/bar station. They were both around the $50K range. It’s hard to directly compare with so many details that go into these estimates. I am planning to go with Tusacan Hills because of the reviews. People seem happier with the product. The downside is no showroom to see the product like a big box.

If anyone has a view on overlay vs inset, please share. Is the upgrade worth it?
