Likely candidates are 'Harmony Blue' or 'Blue Poppy'. Both will develop a black center disc.

I'm not sure how well you can nail down a specific cultivar :-) There aren't that many and most spring anemones are just sold as a mix or as an unnamed potted plant.

gardengal48 thanks for those two Anemone names...I want to make sure I understand....Do Anemones open with a lighter shade and go to dark or visa versa? I thought that might the reason I was not finding photos like mine with the lavender centers. Thanks much for the possibly names, as I had not heard of those until you showed me.
