"Is there a better alternative to Pella Lifestyle?"

Honestly most anything is a better alternative to any most anything Pella. I would look at Marvin Elevate and or if you have a dealer near you look into LePage aluminum clad.

The Impervia fiberglass are less expensive and better than the Livestyle in various ways because they're fiberglass and powder-coated.

I'd prefer Marvin as above.

Did you mean factory interior paint? I always choose that option.

Pella still uses thin "roll form" (instead of extruded) aluminum cladding with ugly overlap joints.

The Pella nailfins are not water tight so its necessary to install flashing tape over the joints as shown below:
