Hi-we have a city kitchen with concrete ceilings and a killer lake view so we don't want pendants over the island. The contractor can create a very slim/minimum soffit for led can lighting. My question is what size soffit? Is there a general rule of thumb? 1/3 the size of the island? How many cans? Thank you for your input.
