You don’t comment on the present condition of your garage floor. From friends I know it seems to me that bonding of epoxy on old concrete is an issue, sometimes even when professionally installed. More so for DIY applications.

Ours is vinyl, brand is Race Deck. We reside in a northern climate so it gets salt and snow. During winter I clean periodically with a mop but it drains effectively. The floor is at least 6 years old.

My husband put epoxy on our garage floor when we moved in 4 years ago. The house was 18 years old at the time, so the garage was not new, but it was in good condition. So far it's great. It cleans up very easily and looks great.

My house was build in 1997. Garage floors seems to be fine. I fixed all cracks and holes. I just need to sand floors with circular grinder machine from home depot rental. It also not letting any water through.

Our home was built in 1965 and has a spancrete garage floor. It was in horrible condition. Initially, we had bids at $15K to fix it with epoxy, with a 1 year warranty.

We found this installer & product last fall. (I have NO vested interest in the company.)

It cost us $3K, and our floor looks amazing! The product has a 15 year warranty.
