Definitely the light blue. Makes you think of water. Not sure if you’re thinking of it as an accent stripe or a full wall or whole shower though.

i really like the vihara glass tile for an entire wall , floor to ceiling , behind a double white vanity the tile is a mix of bery pale blue, pale grey, and white

trinf to find a floor tile and wall tile to fo around a white tub the wall tile aroind the tub will have the vihara tile as a niche accent

the samole pics above have a white porcelain look floor tile ( i like it - its okay) and a loght grey subway tile for around the tub wall.

im just not sure of this combo i feel like the grey subway tile feels a bit heavy in color with the vihara glass tile. im not sure if its the color or style of one or both of the tiles paired with the vihara mosaic tile thoughts?

And the first pic is the same tile as the one poc of the sample tiles. the lighting in the barhroom is way dark and looks awful when i photograph it its actually looks like the light blue featured in the first pic in real life

With that blue tile I would for sure go with a white tile. You can have the blue be the star and all others the supporting actors. Lovely. Just make sure they set that tile with white thin set as the grey stuff will change the look.

for the tib wall tilrs, i was thinking a white tile as you said, or a much paler grey or a very pale whisper of a light blue ( like the glass tile)

this grey the tile shop suggested has me second guessing

Either of those would work. I wouldn't go too dark with the grey as it will just highlight the grey in the mosaic and you might lose some of what you love about it. I'm not a fan of the grey you are showing there. It makes everything seem muddy.

The larger marble look stone he recommended for the floor the solid grey he recommended for the wall around the tub

I would look for a brighter white base porcelain tile. A marble look porcelain in any shape for the floors and then use white subway style with light gray grout for the shower walls. Maybe then paint your remaining walls in the light blue to match your mosaic

I love the Swish rile choice! I would not do gray. Too heavy. I would also suggest something white.

i will turnn these accent tulrs dien and go with a white. do you think any shape white can work in the tub surround with the swush as a wall niche accent to match the banity wall, or subway is the way to go? same shape wuestion for for floor. . appreciate the help and advice! you have all been kind and great !

Flutterby showed you how a white room lets the “special tile” be the star. Stick to simple shapes for tiles that are near the beautiful blue one. Your floor can be a soft white porcelain that looks like marble but only pick something with a light, light veining. Your special tiles are STUNNING. Keep all the others “quiet”. A simple square white tile or a longer subway tile (with white grout) would work.

Instead of a niche, maybe you can install a simple, plain ceramic shelf in the shower. I think an indented niche will break up the beautiful wall of the blue.

yes, i agree flitterby and others suggetion of white is a better choice for sure. wil be going with that option trying to now figure out shapes for the tub wall and floor. i could do subway/ rectanhel for both wall and floor, but i do have that style in 2 other barhrooms in my house, so am trying to see if i could do somehting a little different shape wise.

if not, im okay woth it, just exploring options and open to ideas others can share that may be worrh considering. houzz is great for that! so many helpful and great ideas from peope. 😊

if other shapes i posted above are too competive for the bathtub sureound , any thoughts about some ttpe if white rectangle for the bathtub wall ( polished or matte??) and a 10 ’matte/ honed hex tile for the floor?

If the blue tiles are behind a vanity, then interestingly-shaped white tiles for the shower would be perfect. Are you doing a glass enclosure?
The blue tiles might be challenging for a niche just because of their size and shape. You need to discuss it with your tile person. Your alternative would be choosing a small tile in the same color as one of the blues to continue the theme.

my thought was the height of the niche could be the height of the accent tile , and it will be a long niche; full lenfht if thr tub ( two daughters , tons of products lol)

so, i was hoping with that size nicheI he, the cutring wouldnt be too bad to add the accent tile in there . but , of it is, your suggesrion is a good one to get a smaller tile in the same colors as the swish. the tile compnay does have orher shapes/ sizes in that color, so that could be an option as well

What about a narrow vertical stacked subway tile?

i received some more samples yestetday that were a brighter white. they are the rectangle and octagon shape pics i posted earler

they are marble though, not porcelain. they come in a honed or polishrd finish and in different size and shape options.

i think the color of the brighter white looks very pretty with the blue tile . this white marble has the tiniest flecks of sparkle to it; really beautiful in my opinion. That suble sparkle flecks withun the marble gives it a little life and not just a flat white , if that makes sense.

just trying to to decide if i should do the marble, and if so, what finish of it for around the tub ( floor will be honed for sure) and what size and shape for both floor and tub . if not marble, then will try to find the same bright white color in a porcelain
