Stuck on bathroom/shower floor ideas!

My primary bath is mid-renovation. About half the room is a “wet room”(?) very large shower with a freestanding tub.The shower walls are Tekali Perla 24x48” polished. I’m having a really hard time coming up with a shower floor/bathroom floor idea that I like.The wall tile doesn’t come in a matte version. Outside the bathroom I have a beigey wood-look tile. There will be a small curb, so the shower area has to have smaller sized tiles. I don’t want marble or porous natural stone. Help! Ideas? Vanity and tub are white.

I had a similar problem finding a small tile and decided to go with penny tile. It's not installed yet, but it's going to add a nice bit of texture that is needed in a muted bathroom otherwise.

I prefer tile that comes in a collection. I tried doing what you are doing and it was time wasted. Everything clashed.

Here's my penny tile with my tile and cabinet sample. I just love it. You can impact the color of the penny tile with different color grouts and of course it comes in different colors. Can't wait to see it installed.

@eld6161 Yeah, I probably should have done that. Live and learn. I’ve already chosen and installed the wall tile, so now I have to find a floor that works. Didn’t realize it would be this hard!

I'd do little light gray squares (lots of samples to get the right ones) with a matching gray grout.
