We just keep plodding forward. Snip away here; expand there; and form ”it” into a new dazzling creation.

The best laid plans .... measure twice, cut once. Seems like I forget all of those things anymore! Your finished product will be amazing - even if it isn't what you originally planned!

There are no mistakes in quilting only design opportunities.

I design as I go all the time, Bev. Sometimes you have to step away from it for a few days, then take another look at it. Show us what you come up with.

Creative projects are a metaphor for life. It never goes exactly as planned. It's all about adapting to the changes and being willing to go in a different direction!

Many words of wisdom, ladies! I always think about painting. The painter doesn't know every stroke and color ahead of time either. It is a creative process.

Here it is. I finished it the night before it was due. In my mind, I had the date wrong and thought I had another two weeks, so I'm so glad I was "ahead". The recipient wrapped herself up in it to sleep the first night she received it. She was so happy. They had it on display at the graduation party.
