I'd go with the way you have it marked, ...if you leave it open, it's out of the way, and doesn't interfer with what you may put on that solid wall.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I agree the door should swing inwards the question is more about which way. Right, or left. If it swings right as it does now, it opens to the wall/window. If it swings left it opens to the bed.

Where is the overhead light switch? To the lt or rt when you walk in? The door should not swing onto the wall with the switch.
