Yes, you can by the track and the adapters all at once. track is purchased by the piece so you buy the track, the adpt. and the power supply. you can get power supplies that run straight from conduit so you would not need a junction box, which would be helpful for the electrician as well.

@beverlyFLAdeziner I do love the options you posted and I did have multiple drum pendants like those saved in my pics, the only reason I was leaning away from them was because, even though not pictured yet, we will have all stainless appliances. We have a 48” 7 burner range and a 62” double fridge being installed next week, as well as a dishwasher. Part of me was afraid to mix metals but I also wondered if once all of the appliances were in if I would need more metal. Thoughts?

@Stacie Holden-Rivers love your kitchen. So glad you did hardwoods throughout, not sure why you'd be advised otherwise. I have the first ones @BeverlyFLADeziner posted. I love them. I see them through the window when I drive up to the house at night and they look like two glowing orbs.

My ceiling is much like yours although probably not quite as high. I never "clean" them, just dust them with an extension duster. I also have stainless appliances although I have no cabinet hardware as I have touch hinges. I think it looks fine with stainless appliances and gold hardware. Here's a picture, you decide. I also have two skylights that you can't see in the picture.

Nothing wrong with mixing metals. I'll bet most of the fixtures are available in chrome or SS.

What concerns me is that the light through the white acrylic is pretty flat. It doesn't provide a room with any of the sparkle that comes from a fixture that has an opening where the bulb is exposed. Decide what is important in your room.

I don't recall which size I purchased but Beverly can probably advise based on your measurements. I bought mine from a local lighting store, I like to buy in person. The sales person ordered additional rods to accommodate the height. I have a few left if you need them lol. They come on four finishes so you may want to go with the brushed nickel. We suggest to pay attention to these pendant lights. Maybe you will like something.

I like your kitchen but you do have some unique challenges with HVAC air system and the sky lights (is that what they are?)? Plus the old canopies. I would go with something that blends with the HVAC air system and give you the ability to extend lighting over the island. Having a kitchen with a 9.5’ island makes me say lighting over the island is best because it brightens up you r work area.

Two large clear glass globes, not three.

Others have suggested some beautiful pendants. My only addition is to consider how much light they actually give and how that gorgeous island will be used. The demands for a serving and eating area are very different from prep work and homework.

There are lots of decisions or additions still to be made to your kitchen such as cabinet pulls etc and bar stools.. so you can pick the colour of the pulls or simply have metAllic pendants.

Hi again. I am trying to find an adapter for the H track that is for a sloped ceiling but I can’t seem to find one where one end fits in the track and then has a slope that we can hardwire our pendants into. Can anyone assist?

What do you mean when you say “regular pendant adapter”…the light is 5.8lbs

Halo, pendant adapter. I assume that is what you mean by H track. that is the brand and the adapter will marry to the track, then you can buy the extension. If the pendant is only 6 lbs you dont need an extra adapter, gravity will allow it to hang straight. It will not pull away from the track being that light.

I’m sorry for the confusion…so the link you posted will allow me to hardwire my panda t into that and the other end fits in the track?

The picture on the one you posted is so blurry, but you do not need the one with a hook on the end if you just have wire only. it would be helpful to see the pendant you purchased.

We haven’t put them together yet but this is the wiring portion along with pics of some things I ordered off Amazon in hopes one would work.

so what you will have to do is unscrew the little pointed tip at the end of the track adapter. So your slopped ceiling adapter can screw into that spot. getting the black cord through the slopped ceiling deal first then screw it into place. take the bottom off the track adapter, and pull the length through. (you will have to be spot on with the wire length). Then cut off the excess strip back the wire and join according to color. stuff the wire/nuts up into the track adapter housing, and reconnect the base to the unit. Then click them into place on the track. DO NOT PUT THE GLASS OR PENDANT PORTION ON UNTIL THEY ARE HUNG TO AVOID DAMAGE AND ALSO TO KEEP IT EASY TO MOVE AROUND.

Honestly you might want to hire an electrician to do it b/c once you cut that cord you cant go back, and they will have a little better time working with the product.

Thank you! It’s much more red/orange in person and finding a match was not fun but I love the way it came out. Strangely, the guy at Home Depot paint department was very helpful in helping me decide to lighten or darken the chops I picked.

UPDATE for those following along, here is “almost” finished product. We still need to install all of the cabinet handles, but we are super happy with the way it turned out. I know it’s not everyone’s taste but we’ve decided that barring any of the unexpected life events, this will be our forever home.
