From what I can see, it is a very pretty home. The only changes I would make is would be paint color and to update the railings in the home.

It looks cold right now, because there is no warmth.

A fireplace on the wall where the wall unit is in the pic is probably best. However, it might also work on the wall that has the console table.

Here is what I went for

It's a good start. I'd paint that console near the stairs either black or the color of the stairs.

I'm hoping others can assist you with a better furniture arrangement, especially since I think your fireplace wall should be the focal point. But I'm just curious, what is the height of that opening into what looks like a dining room??? It looks strangely low.

It’s a normal 9 ft entrance.. it looks that way for the angle or for the extremely high vaulted ceiling

The fireplace in the corner makes it challenging. You might consider putting antiglare window film on the high windows to cut glare and then put a TV console with a TV under the windows.Then flip the sofa to face the fireplace wall. You could then put one chair closer to the fireplace and maybe the other one to the right of the opening into the dining room. I think you might need a slightly larger rug and a coffee table and maybe some side tables for the chairs. Maybe arrange everything that way now if it will work in the space and post another picture. You'd probably get better suggestions from some pros if you posted the dimensions of the room.
