Bought a house with wood floors upstairs. Not sure if its engineered or solid wood or what kind of finish it has other than its a flat finish... floors are in decent shape and does not need a full sanding but I wanted to refinish it (buff and coat) if possible before moving in. How can i do it if i dont know what finish it has? Do I even need to if its engineered wood?
