The first plant looks like a weed grass as opposed to an ornamental garden grass. I can't name the species. Some weed grasses are perfectly lovely in the right setting though.

The second shrub is Rose of Sharon, Hibiscus syriacus.

I wonder if the first one is a spiderwort? (Tradescantia) On a laptop, the pic is tiny for me.

Does the top one smell of onion when crushed? Looks like a clump of neglected garlic to me.

Like floral, I thought the first one looks like garlic.

I agree with Christopher on Rose of Sharon. It is late to leaf out compared to other shrubs, and the seed pods and leaf shape are right.
