I don't have one, but it looks like you could store what usually go in a medicine cabinet there. Depending on how it it is configured on the interior, maybe hang a hair dryer.

I guess it depends on what you plan to store there. As stated by @houssaon theoretically it would be used to store what otherwise goes in medicine cabinets.

When I remodeled I had the option to get rid of the medicine cabinet that was on the side wall but opted to have the cabinet maker I was using make me a miniature version of my vanity doors. I realized that there were certain items like medicine bottles that were better stored on shallow shelves where one could actually see them from the side as opposed to drawers where you are looking down at the tops of things and would have to either label the tops or pull up the vials or containers to see what is in them.

FWIW I have pullouts in all of my vanity "doors" and one side is specifically configured to hold dryers, brushers and other hair grooming stuff as it has "holes" for them to fit into and the shelf is positioned so that it is the appropriate height. The other "doors" have standard rollouts as well as a rollout for the sink cabinet so that all of my interior space is full usable.

I don’t have it on top, but we ended up with a little space so have a 3” pullout between 2 30” vanities (couldn’t wait for custom vanity due to water leak so thought this was best use of space). Bathroom still in process, but I’m planning on medicines, feminine products, extra deodorants, etc. to be stored in this otherwise filler space.

They look extremely useful….but of course you would not be able to leave anything out on the countertop… a big draw back for me …and if others use this bath.., there may be things there that you don’t want to share with everyone who is looking for soap or a water glass…on a much wider counter it may work better

Shelf height might be custom. I do like that they made the upper cabinets white so tthey blend in.

If this is custom why not have these built into the base cabinets I never like the towers on the counter . Better yet get better storage in the vanity You give us no info as to your space so without that we are working in the dark.

We went with a "spice drawer" style of storage for our master bath vanity. It was a custom cabinetry job and I went so far as to do away with the doors and had the drawers built to accommodate the sink bowl and plumbing. I absolutely love it and the clean counters are a dream.
