Hi Stush, I'm so sorry I missed this. I haven't been on gardenweb in a while and need to catch up with everyone :-)

I find that my francoisii's like somewhat more frequent waterings than the rest of my Euphorbias, and a bit more shade. During the winter they don't loose their leaves, and I water them about every 10 days. They are in a fast draining mix of lava, pumice, chicken grit and fine orchiata bark. I think there's a little turface in there as well.

Here's a pic of some of them. They get morning sun in this spot.

Thank you for responding. Yours look grate. Mine was doing so well then I brought it out for the summer and kept it in bright shade. Didn't notice it for a few days when it lost all it's leaves. Seems to be alive and is blooming again but no new leaves. Was surprised to see no fat root system. Other cheap ones I purchased has very big fat roots.

I'm surprised about the roots. Mine do have fat roots, except for my one francoisii x labatii cross. I really don't know why yours lost its leaves. Bright shade should be perfect for it. Hopefully it well start to grow soon.

Just checked this morning and looks like start of some new leaves. Still full of flowers. No matter what I do, can't get any seed pods. Maybe the bees will help me this year. The small little plant was so full of leaves before that I could never see the trunk. Just wonder if it was normal or not. Thanks for the advise.

I'm so glad it's starting to get new leaves. Maybe it just had a hard time adjusting to being outside? Wish I could be more helpful :-)

Stush, is this what your collecting now? I've only known it as a Spurge. I just loved the colors.
