Help with Backsplash

Recommendations on backsplash for our small kitchen? (Gold hardware, Countertops will be calacatta gold quartz, cabinets are snow white & sw stardew.) I can't decide between white, light gray, or pale blue. Thinking subway tile, chevron or another interesting pattern. I love the Cloe tile.

You can do any of the choices you mentioned. When the counter is in you can bring home samples and see how they look in your space.

We did simple gray 3x12 tile with our calacatta gold quartz.

I rather think of backsplash similar to flooring. In most cases it should provide a background for other items instead of trying to be an eye-popping element. So, would recommend something classic and understated to prevent it from becoming quickly passe.

IMO before choosing one more thing fix that lighting never a fan in a kitchen and never one center light at this stage probably the best will be a 5 head LED track light all 4000K bulbs I have no clue what the bottonmpic is showing and for sure you needed a counter depth fridge,

Pretty kitchen! I think your choice of pale blue or gray subway tile would be a great classic look!

I really like your countertop choice with your cabinets. I also like the cloe tile. The nice thing about them is that you can add a beautiful texture for a bit of interest in your smaller kitchen without it being overwhelming, bonus is that you can bring in the subtle colors from your countertop. I like your first instinct. Good luck

Eta, I would also swap out that fan, looks to heavy overhead and its outdated looking in your new kitchen. I would invest in an electrician and a few puck LED lights, and also under cabinet lights. Both of those upgrades are worth the price and you wont regret it. (thats how its done Pat, why does everything sound so rude when you write it.) Patricia has some very good critiques but she comes off as condescending and rude. In this instance she is right about getting rid of the fan.

@Patricia Colwell Consulting 100% agree on all points. The lighting in there is horrible, we will be switching it. We just bought the house and haven't moved in yet. The fridge is pulled out in the photo above don't worry, and our contractor adding the cabinetry around/above the fridge.

Fan is 100% NOT STAYING.

Only looking for backsplash advice at this point, everything will be changing before we move in don't worry!
