Help with countertop (looking at you Joseph Corlett)

I hope these pictures convey the issues. There are gaps and chips and three seams (one to connect two big pieces plus a sink bridge) none of which look good. And, the sink is off by a little less than a quarter inch.

I am beyond upset. I paid so much money for these and told them multiple times that it was very important to me that the seams be few and well done. They are coming back later today and I know they are going to try and tell me it's no big deal and that it's within the accepted margin of error.

How do I know this? Because the countertop they cut for my bar area was a full quarter inch too short, and they suggested that I just put a backsplash on the sides of my cabinets to cover it. They are redoing the piece.

My contractor agrees that these are not acceptable, but I contracted with this company directly so it's on me to handle this discussion. So...am I right to be upset?

What do I need to say to get them to agree to fix it?

Thanks in advance.
