Western hemlock, Tsuga heterophylla

After some more googling I dont think either guess is quite right. The bark on my tree is different from pictures i found of a hemlock or cedar.

The foliage alignment and pattern is certainly that of a Cedrus species. I based my guess of hemlock based solely on tree form but the additional photos confirm cedar.

Last two shots look like Cedrus brevifolia

Looks like the bark appearance changes as the tree ages. Mine is 17 years old max. Lots of variation given for height but this is another case of someone planting a tall tree too close to the house. Guess Im lucky the driveway hasnt lifted yet. Ugh!!
