Help me decorate my balcony

Hi everyone I just bought a condominium this week! I'm really excited to start decorating it but I have no idea what to do with my narrow space balcony- I'd love some suggestions on how to make it more inviting and relaxing!

I see that it is very narrow. There is room for a nice barbeque at one end. Maybe some floating shelves above to hold some cooking items.

One thing to bring the inside out would be a long outdoor rug. Then to the AC end, add a tall tree in a large planter. Then a nice chaise lounge for relaxing.

Also google "living walls". One of those would be a nice addition.

What is your lifestyle? What type of vibe do you want to portray? Single, cool dude? How many will use the space at once or will it mainly be you chilling here? Do you like to grill? Modern? or "Earthy?" Congrats on your new condo! How exciting!

Hi Darzy- im a single guy who loves behaving like a sophisticated gentleman. I love to entertain and accommodate as large of a guest size as is possible. Since my condo is a new construction I want to move towards a modern aesthetic. A sleek design is my overall goal.

Here are a couple of concepts for your. #1 provides a lounge for you or seating for 3-4. The container with plant material could cover your AC unit. The teak tile would make great flooring for your outdoor space.

I liked the wood planter photo. I think it would look cool if you had a redwood planter type bench along the balcony wall. A nice decorative wall mirror on opposite sides (width) would look cool especially if you had some hanging lanterns. Plants are always a plus. You have a nice space, so many possibilities.

I think these are inexpensive items you can get at a hardware store and piece together. I just like getting ideas, it helps me with my projects.

I think to make the most out of your entertainment space, how about this?: If a custom table isn't do-able for you, a long console table will work as well.
    1. Install parquet floor to extend the living space.
    2. Put a stainless planter on both sides of the balcony... one to hide the AC and the other to balance (or a grill),
    3. Install a stainless steel "bar counter" across the balcony to use as seating for 4, or dinner for two, or buffet table for the grill or just a "bar" setup.
    4. Get four counter height bar stools for under the counter.
I couldn't find a photo exactly what I was thinking, but here is inspiration.

get a table that folds down and is very out of the way (good for morning coffee) put pulls out when you want to have a larger spread.

An industrial chic fountain/sculpture would be very cool. Listening to water is always relaxing.
