FOTESS JUly SWAP

This will be a very easy swap with a Christmas in July theme. Christmas in July was a favorite of Carol Bea when she was still a member and I always enjoyed the theme.

WE have a heat advisory here all week and cooool wintry thoughts are appealing right now.

Swap will be extra easy just a card or letter with a small surprise tucked inside. Stick with less than 13 ounces total to stay in the first class category for postage.

I will post BINGO tomorrow and sign up's will be open until Saturday.

Maybe the struggle with this houzz is why we’ve lost some members. Beth, you may need to contact us individually.

I haven't mailed yet, Beth. If you want to message me with the list (new or previous) I can try to post it also and maybe at least one of us will have a list that appears. You had in included with bingo words if that helps anyone find it.

Jeanne, I saw the YULE LOG bingo word right after Beth posted it and there were no partners. It seems that posts show up up for some people....very strange!!

Annie, the list of partners was in a post that had multiple bingo words listed. I can see the ones that are still posted with Yule Log, Santa Claus and Fireworks.

I never sa anything. I keep checking and then wonder if Beth posted and it’s invisible again.

Jeanne, I went back and checked.....I see no partners. WOW, Jeanne, you are special....LOL!!

Well, I'm not so special. I signed up for both OBF and FOTESS this month and it turns out the post where I saw bingo words and partners was on OBF! Silly me.

Jeanne, I can relate to "silly me"....I certainly have been there.....far to often! Happy Day!

Posting here and hope we can all see it. Shirley to Annie

Annie to Jeanie...Jeanie to Margo, Margo to me and I i will send to Shirley

And, Here are a couple more BINGO Words too

    Green, and,

    marching band.

Still super HOT and dry here. the grass crunches when I walk and even the flowers I water daily are droopy before noon.

Just read of massive cattle sell offs due to lack of hay for the hungry livestock. First cutting of hay here was very good but if that is all there will be......

I see it, I see it!

OMG....am I dreaming???? Partners posted!! It is visible, at least for now. Silly Annie is sending to Silly Jeanne!!

Margo, enjoy Grandchildren whenever you can. Mine ( greatgrands actually),are not visiting this summer ( due to sports and high costs for travel) and I sure do miss them. They were the perfect excuse for visiting the beach and other fun places.

Well, looks like I'm working today and tomorrow so here is one more bingo word.

    campfires

I remember so many Campfires along the Delaware, both with Girl Scouts and fishing with my Dad. Good memories of good times

Back again. I really enjoyed my days back in the big kitchen. A lot of new faces but all with smiles, at least when I was looking, and one of the new men "loved my cole slaw". Always nice to hear. Turns out he grew up in the same area of PA as I did. It was probably a regional custom to make slaw that way. Anyway, a fun change of pace for me.

The heat and drought continue to intensify here is the lower mid west and no predictions of relief in site. AS long as the power grid stays intact, we will all be "OK"

How is the weather treating you gals in other areas?

Are your gardens holding up OK?

    New BINGO Words,

    Valley Forge

    Blue

    Christmas Carols

    Have a beautiful Day

Beth, found what Inhave for you quite by accident. I will mail it out on Tuesday. Grands go home Monday.

Here is Thomas and Scarlett with my dil Michell and son Taylor. Our community is having the annual Lake Waynoka festival. They are checking out the firetruck.

Margo, the kids are adorable. Sounds like such fun. Enjoy. The great grands were here most of last summer and I loved the "drop in visits" and afternoon trips to the lake. The two oldest ones have sports teams this year and with travel costs higher they will not be down. I sure do miss them.

I went into town today to the only store we have. I needed some Birthday cards and had a few other things including some for this swap They had no Birthday cards for men at all. No file cards or recipe cards and lots of empty spaces. I am able to go to the next town,( about 35 miles in the opposite direction) but many folks here are no longer driving. Things could become quite difficult for them if they can not shop locally. So, I plan to shop tomorrow after church and then Mail Monday. Stay cool

I received my card and little tuck ins from Annie. Thanks so much. Annie sent a Christmas card (love it), confetti pack and some confetti loose in the card and lemongrass seeds. I love lemongrass so I hope I have good luck with it and I'm always happy to get "fun mail".

I posted earlier that I mailed my card today Beth and it is supposed to arrive on Monday. I don’t see it anymore so trying again.

sounds like things are moving along in spite of my confusion and some wierd things from the computer system.

Word to replace Blue is Silver two new words are

    red and

    December 25th

Jeannie I am also a fan of lemon grass though the batch I have now seems to not be very fragrant. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions for increasing the amount of fragrance? It is outside and needing to be watered every day due to the excessive heat.

My card is on its way to Margo.

Here is a sorta odd memory of the one Christmas I was in Hawaii. Absolutely nothing felt "right" about it, so, I joined a choir. At least the music made me feel Christmassy.

Looks like we are about out of BINGO words and all players are down to needing one or maybe 2 words.

Have you ever had Christmas away from "home" and among strangers?

I always celebrate Christmas here in Southern California with family. I refuse to get on an airplane at Christmas.......to much work LOL! My SIL wants me and my BIL to venture back to Philiadelphia for Thanksgiving.....thinking about it, maybe . I feel the same away about traveling at Thanksgiving as I do about Christmas. We will see!

    No BINGO yet for me....

    Happy Monday!

Jeanne, could it be we need the same "one"....good luck!

OK< How about "Uncle Sam"? does that make a two or three way tie?

Not the one I need but maybe someone else has it.

I need just one as well. First come, first win? lol

I received my envie from Jeanne and she was sure good with the theme. Inside a Christmas card, she included words to a July Cheistmas song, a snowman note pad( i use notes all the time), a Christmas word search, and Angel wing seeds. Thank you Jeanne-awesome contents..

Beth thank you so much for my card, popcorn, swiss miss and choc bar.

All I need now is a good movie to watch and I'm set.

looks like we are wrapping up here. BINGO for Annie.... I'll get your prize in the mail by the end of the week AND I'm thinking all Christmas in July packages have been delivered.

If Anyone is still waiting....please let us know.

The only thing missing was a good round of Christmas music and I enjoyed that at the SR Center yesterday. Staff surprised us with Christmas Decorations, cookies and singing of favorite Christmas Carols with a great piano player and a few choir members to lead the festivity. I'm content....
