How many people live in the apartment? How big is the bathroom? I think 60" is a bit on the small side for two sinks and have any usable top space.

In my apartment that we rented, we had 2 sinks in a 60" space. It was tight in terms of not having space for anything extra.

In my MB I have a 60” vanity with 2 sinks but I did go with slightly smaller sinks in order to get a couple inches more countertop. One thing to think about besides counter top space is storage space in the vanity. I have a storage closet in my MB so I didnt need to be concerned with vanity storage. A second sink will reduce the amount of storage because underside of the sink and the plumbing. With one sink you could have a 30” sink base and a 30” inch drawer base with 3 or 4 drawers. I would suggest doing 2 deep drawers and one shallow like I did in my hall bath

Here is my 60” counter with a sink ofset to one end. We needed room for a walker or wheelchair, so kept the countertop to 16” deep. The second mirror is handy for me sitting to do my hair (though I do need a mirror on the counter to see anything lower than the top of my head). I use a tall shower stool to sit and do grooming.

We had the contractor cap off the water and drain lines in the wall where there used to be a second sink so that any future owners could go back to two crowded sinks.

One sink. More storage, more counter, less plumbing, bigger sink.
