Are most of the plants around Central Texas affected by the drought?

Drought this time of year is pretty much normal for Texas, imo. Unless it's the Houston area where it seemed flooding with every rain was the norm.

Mine is thriving and showing up EVERYWHERE Danny. They handle droughts very well. They love dry, and rocks. They must have a ballistic seed dispersal mechanism?

Yes, an explosive distribution and yes, they show up everywhere I don't mow in the yard (and sometimes even blooming low where I *do* mow). I've had quite a few rains (after a 120 day drought) in early August and they've started blooming pretty heavily again, but certainly survivors.

Danny, are yours more of a lavender/purple? Mine are all more whiteish,, all decended from one plant that I bought several years ago, from where I fail to remember. I'm always pulling vollunteers out. They have tenacious roots that usually always grow back.
