There is more than a style to consider and suggest waiting until you move in, as you need to take into account the size/shape of your dining table and then look for complementary island pendants with the right proportions.

It’s hard to recommend given the above, but start saving inspiration pictures so you can narrow down a look.

IMO you have stainless in the kitchen and I would not add in gold since I think the one warm item is the counter so why not let that be the star. As for lighting I would not do that now but wait until all the other elements are in place since lighting is imporatnt both style wise and function wait to see what you need for both purposes . I would not do a stone dining table it will be too much if you match it and always looks like you tried with any other stone. A nice wood tble if you like wood and there is nothing wrong with a wood base and a nice thick glass top .Take your time to choose wisely and feel free to add questions and pics to this post at anytime.

@Patricia Thank you so much for those very valuable comments. Our appliance except the refrigerator is stainless steel. We got the samsung bespoke refrigerator with white panels. We still have color options to choose. I will definitely look into glass/ wooden table. And take care of the lights at the very end. For now I will stick on to the stainless steel faucet and knobs. Can you please tell me what would break the brown monotony in the home?

is your range hood white? Or does it have plastic on it and its stainless?

I think if your counters were white your kitchen could actually carry off the gold accents you crave. WIth the busy granite gold might make it a bit too ornate. If your fridge is white you are going to have a lot of high contrast already.

If you want touches of gold I would do lighting over island that has a touch of gold but more white glass to balance out your white fridge and white hood.

I agree that the best plan of action is to choose your funishings. create a file with items you like. Circle back on the light fixtures once youre in the home and have lived with the lighting to know what you will want and need.

@design interior south.@ the hood is stainless steel and has the plastic cover. I agree with the idea of having gold shade on lighting. Do you have a picture of a kitchen with similar island and cabinets with a color other than gold that adds a contrast

Looks like there isn’t a backspash and looking at inspiration pictures of brown kitchens on Pinterest and Houzz will help you visualize. It will make a big difference and also suggest new hardware.

Looking at on line dining rooms sets and lighting will help as well.

@maureen there is a backsplash..i think it is not clear in the picture. It is herringbone pattern. Glass tiles.similar to what you have shown.
