what are the Islands and kitchens dimensions, please?

I’m wondering about the spacing between the 2 islands and their relation to the various parts of the kitchen work triangle, thanks!

In this kitchen, our designer Rebecca used (like usual) NKBA guidelines as spatial planning building blocks. Each space here is actually designed as a 48" opening (sink wall to island 1, island 1 to island 2, fridge wall to island sides, and island sides to exterior wall - the latter not pictured in this image)

If you use the prior "work triangle" method, the sink and cooktop are immediately across from each other, with the fridge/freezer columns creating a peak at the end of island 1. There is a small piercing at the corner, but we work with our clients to utilize zones, and understand that the triangle is a good starting point, but rarely is perfect! The double ovens create a separate "baking" zone, immediately to the right of the sink.

    Hope that helps!

Thank you for such a concise answer! Pictures are often hard to translate into “real life” spaces and your explanation helped wrap my mind around our upcoming build, thanks so much!

@Niti Sharma The backsplash is the Blocks mosaic from Marble Systems and can be found here
