Starting at the bottom you would need to undo the snaplock (I would get a "siding zip tool" at HD) that locks the pieces together, then carefully remove the roofing nails at the top of each panel. The panels typically come 12'-6" so the pieces should be manageable but depending on your layout still may need to remove 6 or 8 pcs of siding.

If your siding is properly nailed with proper spacing between the back of the nail head and siding to allow expansion and contraction, you should be able to slide the nail head through the slot and avoid removing the nails.

So, can I start at ANY bottom piece?
