Most full-service print shops can do custom window clings. But if you don't have a local shop, there are lots of on-line ones. Just search "custom frosted window cling".

New doors may lose their warranty if you add such products or films.

Yes the film will be cheaper and also look cheaper .

The sun image on the glass door is film. It's not etched.

I would hesitate to do anything like this permanently..as it is so personal.. and impossible to change if you tire of it…never mind the “re- sale” element

They do make a spray on product for windows that could be a fun.. but temporary way to experiment with this idea..it can come off if/ when you tire of it

What is your point Jennifer? As for etching the glass that IMO would require someone very talented and I sure would not want that design maybe just the bars but not the sun it looks juvenile . It also depends on the style of your house and your interior maybe give us bit more info . Messing with glass IMO is a serious issue Is this just for fun ?

It would be nice if the most abrasive poster in this thread re-read her comments and considered whether she'd like that kind of patronizing, dismissive, rude tone directed at her. If not, maybe she should pull in her horns and practise some manners.

@Patricia Colwell Consulting, my point is that even though window film costs less than having glass etched, it isn't necessarily considered cheap and saying something that someone else likes looks cheap and juvenile is mean.
