A little child's scrappy

I just assembled these blocks today. I made them down in Palm Desert last winter. I decided to stop at this point (37" x 49") and make it a child's quilt, because I got a 50" x60" piece of aqua minky at a thrift store for $5, and I wanted to use it. I hope to quilt it on my new longarm when I learn to use it. I've been watching videos like crazy. At least I'm starting to get the terminology correct. I've ordered a few notions too. Excited!!
