I just fund out that another of the quilts I have made has been "eaten" by a dog. This makes three now. Two of the dogs were kenneled right next to the owners' beds. In their boredom, the dogs pulled the quilt into the kennel and ate a hole in it. I repaired one of the quilts several years ago. I will make a few blocks and send them, as well as some backing and batting, to the owner of the latest damaged quilt. Maybe she can repair it well enough to use it. It was a beautiful queen-size quilt. I try to keep in mind that the dogs probably give the owners more pleasure than the quilts do, but it's still hard to accept.
