We just bought this house and had to finish the kitchen cabinets and also just added an entertainment center nearby. I need help picking the color for the paint and glaze for the cabinetry which would go with our carrara marble counters, soapstone island, rich floors, and white barn sink. I want something as white as possible, but warm, with a glaze that would tie in the hues of the floors or soapstone. I also think I'm set on a white subway tile backsplash all the way up the back wall and am leaning toward some bamboo blinds/shades. Can you PLEASE suggest paint colors, glaze colors, and/or backsplash ideas that would go well with this? I love white but my husband thinks too much white is a bad idea with our 3 kids, so that's why I've leaned toward the glazing. HELP! Oh, and I also need help choosing two light fixtures for the island if anyone has any ideas.
