Does anyone have pics of this countertop installed? i know it’s been asked before but there aren’t a whole lot of pics circulating on the internet. I believe they’re fairly new. Much appreciated if anyone can post some pics. Thank you!

As I always ask how is seeing something in someone elses space help you. Unless their home is exactly like yours as to flooring , cabinet color lighting everything ,there is no way for you to imagine it in your space .If possible the best is to get a smaple and see how it loks with your space . BTW I think fake palstic stone is always a bad choice

I hate to feed into this, but if I had to base my opinion solely on Houzz discussion boards, I would have to assume that professional designers are the most miserable people on the planet. Such unhelpful comments that nearly keep me off the site.

We just installed Calacatta Delios and I’m so happy with it. Our kitchen isn’t finished yet, but I’ll share some pictures with you tomorrow when the lighting is better.

My own KD has a distaste for quartz; I use it a lot, despite her distaste and despite I do love a lot of other tops that are from the earth. She loves granite, I rarely use it, unless plain and honed - despite the point, right?

Tops are but one element in a kitchen.

The most important is layout, which is driven by the appliances you need and select.

Then comes harmony among Cabinet Finish, Flooring, ( also the tops, how much, and where will any seams be required ) and how all of it it relates to the rest of your home, including the style of door and drawer fronts. How will you light the space ?! It matters.

The real issue in any kitchen is to create a functional, lovely and pleasing whole - as no selection within it lives in isolation.

There is truth in the statement that another kitchen, another home is not yours. .........which goes simply, to the pecking order I just advised. Internet photo's owner photos, all . None are exactly your kitchen , your home.

When you've considered all of that? The only way to achieve certainty is find a fabricator with a slab, take all the other finishes with you, and look. In person.

Or find a quartz "store" in your locale with all the very large MSI samples, borrow it and take it home. Which is what I do for any client : ) Following all the aforementioned planning

I didn't say backsplash, or hardware. They're the very last decisions

@Shelby Thank you! Why is it so hard for some people to just skip posts that they don't agree with? It's really not that hard. I appreciate you know where I'm coming from. Sometimes, it's just fun when you're surfing the internet to see what you may be interested in and what others have used as well. That's why I asked about pics. Some people just don't get it. I look forward to your pics. Thank you again! Have a fabulous day!

@JAN MOYER Thank you for being the voice of reason. I appreciate your constructive feedback. Believe me, I've been toting my cabinet and flooring samples whenever I visit those showrooms. Haha. Planning to go to the MSI showroom soon. Thanks again! Have a great day!

Yes the veins are definitely more subtle. This picture is fairly accurate.

Not great pictures of the countertop detail but we're really happy with the Delios.

Thank you for sharing! I just purchased this today and was looking for pictures of a kitchen and not just my sample! Beautiful!

I just purchased it as well this week and in the showroom I thought I saw some of the veins in black, but maybe it was just a darker brown. My cabinets are white and knobs will be a bronze gold, so I think they will go well with this counter. Has yours been installed?

Shelby, the white cabinet seems to go well with the countertop. What is the brand/color?

Thank you! It's Benjamin Moore White Dove.

I am so happy to see your post!   I have custom cabinets that are painted BM White Dove and I have been trying to find a quartz that matches it because it is a warm white and a majority of the quartz is a cool white. I have been to several showrooms and just found Calcatta Delios.  Then I came across this post!  Btw.....I read the comments from the "Pro".   I used to be a decorator and have helped my builder husband pick many selections.  I found your post very helpful!!!  Just ignore those critical people!!!😊

I also have noticed certain people on these boards who make a point to slam quartz whenever they can. I’m not sure why they feel the need to do that. Are they also slamming “fake” corian and laminate counters? Many of us have chosen quartz for a reason, not the least of which is its durability and stain resistance, and where it has advantages in the kitchen over so-called natural counters including marble and even granite. And beauty is in the eye of the beholder, we genuinely find so many of these quartz countertops beautiful. I used quartz in my kitchen and bathroom remodels a few years ago (replacing some dated-looking granite that always showed water stains) and have not once regretted it. I love my counters much more than I ever did before. And as to why we would ask to see someone else’s counter pictures, that should be obvious. We want every opportunity to see the counters in different settings other than samples which are limited and misleading.
