Not too big but why there at all. There is no lighting anywhere else in the space and that for sure does not take the place of better lighting at different levels in a space .All the light is in the ceiling and you need table lamps , floor lamps to have different levels of light .BTW when you have to move pillows to sit down then there are too many pillows

I have to agree with Negative Nellie! It should be above a dining table and could even be longer in that case. Can Chesterfield sitters see TV adequately with the chandy there? I'd prefer Credenzas, demi-lune tables, or chests either side of the fireplace with art above them and the chairs angled in front of them. TV would go on the big wall above a credenza, and that sofa would take the chairs' place in front of the window.

She’s not breaking any ”rules” or ”shoulds”. Lots of designs feature chandeliers in living rooms, bedrooms, etc.

If you read her post, she said the TV is seen fine from the Chesterfield.

I love the chandelier - the tv is actually very distracting. Too bad that can't go elsewhere
