Samsung Bespoke Kitchen - color matching issue

Hi, we are building, selecting new appliances and really like the Samsung Bespoke line. In particular the 4 door flex fridge and the slide in range with the double hinged door and air fry mode. Only problem is that we are really attracted to the idea of the glass panels on the fridge but cannot picture how they will work with the range and dishwasher in a different shade. There are no showrooms near us that have more than the tiny sample for each color. Considering black stainless for range and dishwasher and charcoal glass for fridge. Anyone seen those together or have a different suggestion if we like them to coordinate as much as possible? Maybe a two-tone so we're not even trying to match - just be interesting? We will have wood cabinets and floor, white trim, black fixtures. (Have not chosen counter or backsplash yet) THANK YOU!

You should join the Just Ask Al Apliance forum on Facebook. Read the (numerous) poor reviews for Samsung. They do not have a good reputation in the industry, or with consumers.

one thing to remember with specialty finishes (black stainless) is if you want/need to replace one of the pieces down the road.. your choices are more limited if you want to keep the appliances matching or at least complementary. It is easier to manage replacements with more standard finishes like stainless or panel ready

Read reviews of the bespoke... then you know.

If you like glass panel, Bosch 800 series with beverage center, GE Cafe platinum glass, Gaggenau all have glass paneled lines

This is house #8 for me. We have Bosch now and hate them. Dishwasher is moody, stainless fridge has surface rust in first year, spent $500 on motherboards. I was just asking about color choice if that’s OK.

My second house had harvest gold dishwasher, black fridge, and avocado green stove-which was wonderful (huge sarcasm!) because it matched the wall to wall patterned carpet😵‍💫. I did see the fridge you like and was taken by the choices and the concept. However, I would be afraid of trends in such major expense items. If it were me, I would use those beautiful color combinations in a tile backsplash or wallpaper because that can more easily changed in the future. I am accused of being too practical, but my first goal in my kitchen is the dependability of my appliances.

The Samsung marketing department has a sense of humor! I love my Samsung smart phone, but the words Samsung and Bespoke should not be in the same phrase!

CR tested a number of Samsung ranges and dishwashers. Several ranges did well enough to earn recommended ratings. Samsung dishwashers, while some performed well, were downgraded due to low reliability and owner-satisfaction ratings.

I think I'd buy a more reliable stainless steel dishwasher and range (though I would consider the Samsung NE63B8211SS induction range which tested well at CR and is a bargain for a slide-in range at $1050 ) and buy only a Samsung Bespoke refrigerator*. But I'd only get the Bespoke refrigerator if I really wanted and intended to have fun with the colored panels. Otherwise I'd get a higher-reliability stainless steel refrigerator too.

*The RF23A9675AP/AA did not test well.

Haha, @chispa. My thoughts exactly. Samsung Bespoke is an oxymoron. Do people considering this line, even know what ”bespoke” means?

Bespoke items are made for a particular user or customer. Like a made to order suit, or shoes. In fact, the term usually refers to clothing. Something bespoke is not only made to order, but is generally of higher quality. Something Samsung appliances are not. Not even close.

"Bespoke" ????? Not in a mass produced fridge. BTW Bosch DWS out perform all others IMO I have always owned a Bosch and have never had issues. The one I own now is 15 yrs old does 6-8 loads per day when my catering biz is busy one service call when apparently a mouse chewed a wire. As for the charcoal glass going with black and stainless what would be the problem. I do agree those fridges are best when done in a colored glass and not for the faint of heart and not in any way bespoke

@darbuka: "Samsung Bespoke is an oxymoron"

Samsung is just using "bespoke" to refer to its line of appliances because customers can control and change the appliances' appearance by swapping panels -- some of which are glass and others are metal -- something not possible with other appliances. Obviously Samsung is not custom building appliances for customers.

@wdccruise, what you said changes nothing. Samsung is trying to make this appliance out to be what it’s not. Put lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig.

Somebody said in this forum perfectly. If you plan to color match Samsung Bespoke, you should be match planning for the next set as well.

I will not buy Bosch or stainless. No gold accents. Desires: sleek fridge door without ugly water contraption, slide in range with integrated griddle. I actually can get 2 sets of Samsung for one Cafe, price wise.

Starting with the range, 30" gas ranges with griddles aren't available in many colors. What colors would be acceptable to you? Choices.

Twenty-four inch, built-in dishwashers for less than $1500 are available in a number of colors. What colors would be acceptable to you? Choices.

@Robyn Henderson did you end up making this selection (on the fridge)? We are possibly switching to the Samsung bespoke at the final hour and am looking for people who selected it and "lived to tell."

@beth hall - no, we are still between white and charcoal. Honestly people were so rude here, I’m no longer going to talk about it. It’s crazy. What did you pick?

Here’s the overall scheme for the home

What a beautiful scheme for your house! I just purchased two complete sets of the white samsung bespoke line for two condos on the beach that I’m buying. I think they are beautiful and reasonably priced. I came here searching for a paint color that matches the white glass. It would be nice to see your final designs. Please don’t be discouraged by such thoughtless negative comments.

@Deva Hupaylo: "I came here searching for a paint color that matches the white glass."

Based on comments from a Reddit discussion, perhaps it would be best to choose a paint that would complement the white glass rather than match it:

    • "We just bought an all white glass Bespoke and when they delivered it we noticed that it has gray undertones which doesn’t go well with our all white cabinets."
    • "We were also a bit disappointed with the off-white color that didn't match the other white appliances in our kitchen."

That sounds like good advice. The color changes with the light so it will never match all the time. The closest i came with swatches in the store is SW pure white
