What is the shape and size of the table and where will it be in relation to the kitchen area? I think a black wrought iron looking light would look nice but would need more details before I could send suggestions.

We actually have the first pendants you post over our island (I love the leather strap and how it adds warmth). We did our lower cabinets stained in mission oak, and have a wood dining table with a medium stain, so the strap ties in nicely. We chose a wrought iron linear fixture over our rectangular table:

There are tons of fixtures in black that would work with any of your pendants. As long as you don't choose a sparkly chandelier or a MCM globe you will be fine.

@EWP Interiors this is the layout if the kitchen/dining space - The dining table is rectangular as shown and similar dimensions as in the plans. The living room is to the right, but I think we are only doing recessed lighting in there.

I like all of the lights posted below - with the possible exception of the last PB one which doesn't seem substantial enough to me.

Also I know this isn't your question...

3' aisles are too tight for a kitchen. You really want at least 3'-6" there, even if your fridge is built in (if it's not, have your architect or whomever draw in your actual fridge to specs).

I would also recommend moving the sink & DW over and placing that end cabinet on the other side of your island. You will appreciate the additional space in your prep zone.

Im struggling with coordinating my island pendants with dining table also in similar open floorplan and 86” revtanke wood table. I love the top ones with leather strap. please tell me where i might find them. we purchased beautiful simple domed pendants from crate and barrel ( Sirrocco) but the seeded glass creates crazy busy pattern on ceiling and cabinets unless lights super dim. I want to find something else. thank you!
