How do you keep weeds from growing in the crushed granite over time?

    Hello, it is gravel not crushed granite, fyi, installers use a base rock and compact it, then install landscape fabric to keep weeds down, gravel is 2-3 inches on top of that. I only specify landscape fabric under hardscape like this, never in planting beds.

    The name is Trinity Crushed Gravel. Gravel types and availability vary at different landscape yards, this project is in Northern California.
