I've been a Covid hermit! Sorry.

I was sorry to miss retreat again. My friends probably think I died! But, I'm healthy and have become a bit of a lump. Since I love to applique, sitting in my recliner having an affair with my remote has kept me off the internet mostly. But, I have been sewing.

I was asked to dust off covid quilts for a local show. Since I had to unearth the pile and document them, quilt them, bind them and photograph, I decided I should catch up with the forum group.

Two went to the longarmer - I don't usually do that with applique - so I'll post those two later. But, for now, here's one. I will dig out more and post when I get used to doing this again. I also did a couple of table runners just to prove I still could.

My design, Hawaiian batiks on Kona black. Sorry about the ripple edge. It's about 3' across.

Love the trigger fish! Your color fabric choices and applique' are both beautiful. Did you create that design or find/purchase it online somewhere?

Oh, Linda, your tablerunner is so cool. The fish remind me of the humuhumunukunukuapua’a - Hawaii’s state fish. I love it!

Linda, I think of you so often. Every time I open the drawer that has my finger pincushions in it, and it is often, there you are! Your applique is exquisite, as always, and your talent for design is a joy to follow. Hugs......
