Lovely windows! I think a rod and panels would look nice. I’d just stack them on each side of the window.

Can you get a pic from further back to show more of the room? You might need to pull your furnishings forward some to accommodate curtains behind.

my LR is uoside down riight now . in the middle of a kitchen and bathroom renovarion . alos also, the existiing furniture is being reolaced..

Yes, if you want to keep the shades, panels would look fine with them.

I second what Jinx said. If you have the room for it on either side of the window (treat it as one window for the sake of this discussion) put up one continuous rod about 16’ long to allow for about 2’ of stacked drapery on either side of the window without blocking any of the light from the window. You would need at least 2-3 panels on either side of window for fullness.
