You haven't provided enough context. Most rooms have four walls. The one you've showed is likely not the place for the sofa. Is that a sectional or chaise sofa? Not sure your mix of cool and warm is working very well together. Where is the TV? Let us see that wall Any other seating here? Where/what is the photo wall; is it here or in another room? The valances are a dated look and are ill fitted for those windows; any plans to remove them?

I don’t understand the ”cool” comment. The only cool thing I see is the pale wall. The couch, rug, and wood floor are all warm colors. The wall color is the odd man out.

It would really help to see this wall in the context of the room.

Perhaps this was would be better to hold your TV.

BTW those valance panels need to come down. That's not the right way to use them. If you require sun control then consider shades.

Maybe the sofa needs to be on another wall, but we need pictures of all four walls to help determine that.

I’d start with updating the window treatment and then consider what to add on wall. Without seeing rest of room, ideas are based on the suggestion of rattan blinds as a jumping off point (and with no other location for couch). Before you add anything, have a longer term plan style wise so you end up with a well coordinated space.

If sectional is not centered between windows, no matter what is added on wall, it will feel off. The advantage of using 3 smaller items will provide a better opportunity to get it right; just play around with distancing and height.

If you needed, in order to center sectional, I’d move bookcase and add a small side table and a lamp, as it will help balance that wall and be handy.

Another thought is to add matching baskets on both levels of bookcase.
