A filing cabinet that looks like furniture, and a spot for a printer/ scanner. That way it’s within arms reach. If you are keeping it as a permanent office, you can do cabinets with a countertop and some shelves above. You can put art, shelves, diplomas and certificates on the wall.

If I needed storage I would keep an eye out on FB marketplace for some kind of neat wide/long buffet or shelving unit (I got a gorgeous glass front piece for my office for $50 off FB) - for above I would nab a tapestry from Anthropologie, they are giant and a total steal (I have had them in several offices over the years)

I would put some kind of cabinets along that wall with a great art piece above. In my office I used Ikea Havsta.

So many options, but if budget is a concern, perhaps look for a second hand console. For instance, this was $85 on Marketplace and remember if needed, paint can totally change pieces.

Then base the rest of your decisions on that piece’s style. I’d remove the floor lamp, place a plant there and add a lamp on console. Try Marshalls, Home Sense and Target (check out Studio McGee line).

Test/combine at home until you're happy with results.
