Hi everyone. We purchased a home that went through an extensive remodel. We tore out all of the finished basement as there was a lot of shoddy work. There was a bathroom in the basement (added by the previous owners). We have removed and capped all the plumbing but after breaking the concrete floor and moving the stone below we noticed water. I’m thinking that this is normal water from the ground which dissipates with the stone but I’m not sure. There is no water leakage from the walls or the basement as everything is stripped to original. We’ve also had some heavy rainfall and no water has come in from the walls. Is this something to be concerned with?
