The largest gap is about a little over 1/4 inch. The first three pictures are close up pictures of the gaps.

You are asking about a gap between the counter top and the wall?

Your woodworker should have scribed the countertop to the wall eliminating the need for trim or caulk.

I would suggest caulk and paint. Use a good caulk like Big Stretch.

I agree so just a caulking much nicer looking that trim for sure. Make a point of telling the cabinet maker that in the future he needs to scrice for uneven walls
