Thermador hood ducting transition

I 'm going to be installing a 36" Professional Series hood and the spec sheet shows a 10" diameter outlet connection from the hood. For a 600CFM fan I see a minimum duct size recommendation of 6" round with an optimum 8" round. The largest diameter I can fit between the joists where this will be running is 7" which should be good. But I can't find any information on what transitions and duct sizes are normally used to connect to the 10" outlet of this hood. Can anyone share what was used on their Thermador hood (or similar hood)? TIA

I've seen 3 1/4" x 10" available but the largest transition is to an 8". round. I'm surprised I've never seen any mention of the transition from the 10" connection on the Thermador hood to either rectangular or round.

I would think that you would measure the length (L) and width (W) of the hood's "box" to which the transition is attached and then purchase a square-to-round transition for a 7" (D) round duct.
