I can't read the measurements but why do you need a dresser ther at all. Mabe a nice long console with a great oversized piece of art above instead. It does not look like you have much space there maybe just the art. I need to see the space and also those measurements since the drawing is not to scale . Do you have walk in closet ? If some IMO you do not need dressers . If you insist do 2 .

I was worried the measurements wouldn’t show up on that photo. The room is roughly 13x20, and the bed is right in the middle in between two windows. We do need some drawers in the actual room. I am thinking of getting nightstands that are actually small 3-drawer dressers since we have the room, but we probably need at least one other piece with some storage. I hadn’t thought of just a console across from the bed….that might be nice! I’m not sure what else to do with that space and where I would put the other piece of furniture if I did that.

Measure the room, draw the room , boldly ACCURATELY, and post a couple pictures as well .........Don't forget window and door dimensions.

It's not a problem to have a dresser across from your bed that isn't the same width as the bed. I have a 66" dresser across from my king and it doesn't look wrong. It doesn't look like you have space for one on another wall, so this seems like the right answer for you.

If the space is 156" from wall to wall in front of bed you can doo a dresser but IMO needs to be quite shallow since I think in a room that size the walkway shoulld be nice and wide . Meayre how long the bed is including the headboard, foot board since thta tells us how much space you have left . I think the idea of the night tables with darwers would be a nicer choice

Why wouldn't you put a dresser if you have room for it? (Unless you live in a mansion with endless storage and a huge dressing room?) . I have a 56" dresser across from my king and it looks great. The dresser is flanked by windows with nice views. If you get a smaller dresser and it ends up not feeling right to you, just put a chair or tall basket, painting, or plant next to it. The dresser + an item 12" or wider will make the dresser area feel more the width of your bed.

If you plan to add a tv ( as many people seem to do) then a dresser or console like dresser maybe the way to go.

Maybe you should put two dressers? Taller ones with a bench inbetween.

Overall: 82"w 89"d 46"h
Headboard Height: 46"h
Footboard Height: 13"h

We currently have a hodgepodge of tall dressers along the wall in question - a collection from our years of city dwelling before we bought a house. Below are some pictures of the space (please ignore the mess!). The only piece we are committed to keeping is the bed. We do have a TV, which we eventually plan on mounting to the wall, so it would make sense for us to have some piece of furniture anchoring it to the space in some way.
