Do you have a drawing of the proposed exterior elevation with the door in the new location? Hard to comment on this until we see what your architect/designer is suggesting.

How is replacing the entire front lawn with hardscape a budget option?

Will the new front door be at grade of need step(s)? Will you be able to move the walkway? I cannot tell what it is made of.

Thanks for the comments! I have not chosen the front door yet but it is at grade. The sidewalk is in good shape, concrete, and I need to keep it for now. Maybe replace it later.

You can balance it with landscaping.
