All the options above are pretty, but awfully busy to go with that lovely granite. The granite (preferably without the 4" strip) should be the star of the kitchen. A simple, solid color, subway shape, starting at the edge of the counter and going all the way up to the lower edge of the cabinets will be your best choice. I'd add under cabinet lights and pull a color out of the granite, looks like a cream or light tan would be a good match.

I would pull it all together with natural stone (marble or travertine) with copper colored glass as an accent.
